What are Panel Interviews?

Panel interviews are a type of job interview where a job candidate is interviewed by multiple interviewers at the same time. Typically, a panel interview will consist of two to five people who are relevant to the job being filled, such as a hiring manager, team leader, or HR representative.

During a panel interview, the candidate may be asked a range of questions related to their skills, experience, and suitability for the job. The interviewers may take turns asking questions or they may ask questions collectively. In some cases, the interviewers may also ask follow-up questions or ask the candidate to elaborate on their responses.

Panel interviews can be an effective way for an employer to evaluate a candidate’s qualifications and fit for a role. They also provide the opportunity for multiple perspectives and opinions to be considered in the hiring decision. However, they can also be intimidating for the candidate, and it can be challenging to make a good impression on a group of people with different backgrounds and priorities.
