Retail Sales, Direct Sales & Marketing, Primary Sales, Secondary Sales, Sales Planning, Sales Strategy, Sales and Business Development

 

Job Responsibility:

 

The primary purpose of the position is to deliver accelerated and profitable business growth Via Channel and retail Sales

To handles sales for Electrical Goods, lighting products & Luminaries (Electrical/FMEG/ Wires & Cables Industry/Home Appliances Industry) through Chanel and retail sales.

Appointing & monitoring Channel Partner, Dealer network & to handle sales Distributors in assigned location.

Handle Assigned territory, achieve budgeted Sales target Through Channel & Retail sales

Promoting new products and any special deals in the assigned location.

Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Should be a strong strategy planner, innovative thinker, and doer

Keep track of competition activity in the market i.e. Competitor Mapping.

Customer Relationship management with Dealer, retailers and CNF.

Managing the existing share of business.

Sales forecasting and control.

Preparation / designing of Sales / Collection Budget for the State Product / Territory wise looking into organizational (product) strength and Market Potential.

Managing complete business operations inclusive of total turnaround with accountability for profitability & executing pre-designated targets in given time frame.

Strategizing short / long term business directions to ensure maximum profitability in line with organizational objectives.

Coordinating budgets, forecasts and reports & accordingly effectuating business plans to attain maximum sales and optimum revenue.

Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales

Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

Thorough with dealer distribution network sales Achieve sales target and revenue targets within time frame allotted.

Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate accounts

Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfilment and follow up

Target new and existing accounts within the energy sectors, Construction, Government, and Educational sectors for new business

Work with the Marketing Department to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiatives

Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email and networking events.

Follow up on leads generated through advertising & tenders, research and promotional events.

Project presentations to the potential clients and close sales

Work with suppliers to secure opportunity buys and availability of products

Coordinate product logo placement with contractors to meet the clients specifications

Analyse sales trends, track unit sales , and generate gross margin reports

Generate monthly budgets and sales forecasts

Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote the corporate program

Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues

Participate in tenders and follow process from document & Bid preparation to order fulfilment and all the requirements of prospective clients.

Travel Involved:

Regular travel to meet existing and potential customers will be required. This will mean travel within the assigned location to meet the existing and New customers for sales development and target achievement. Travel, boarding and lodging costs will be met as per company policy.
